Pretty much all good, I’ll be back!

Nice budget hotel, good location, decent showers, decent bed, decent cable with cnn and hbo, 5 minutes to Kuta beach, 7/8 restos in immediate area, big pool with lots of loungers, great staff in all areas, great wifi, great bar with 25K (rupiah) ice cold beer and not bad live singer on Tuesdays, overall a good choice and I’ll be back!

No chairs in the room, have to move one in and out from balcony, huge construction project across the entry, noise didn’t really bother me but it might you. Restaurant is just ok, no elevator. And it’s dam hot here????

Wonderful

The location and staff was great. Also the pool area. The hotel offers also massages, I had the best back massage ever. In the early morning of our departure, the staff prepared us breakfast to go.

Relaxing and very comfortable.

A quiet lane off the Beach road but full of life and friendliness. The Hotel is a gem.....dated rooms but no problem for an outdoor trip. Lovely staff and atmosphere.....will return in February.

The construction of a new hotel opposite may become a problem later in 2024.

The bathroom had a bad smell, old rusty taps , water did not leave the sink, tv did not work was fixed afterwards.

Great value small hotel in a great location with good food and lovely staff.

Loved the location. Very good value for the money. The restaurant food was great value and very good quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely gardens.

The rooms were dated which was fine but could have been a little cleaner and provided cleaner and more towels.

Would deffinitely stay again. Hotel was clean, great location, above excellent air con.

Air con was so cold! Clean rooms, friendly staff. Big spacious rooms. I liked that you could leave your aircon running while you were out all day so you could come home to a cold room! I would deffinitely stay again! Great price!

Amazing

Food at hotel amazing, big beds and staff are lovely. It is so close to everything and so beautiful

On checkout we had a late flight we did not want to checkout early but paid half price of a night. It was very bad service they did not clean the room and give clean towels so we could have a shower before departing.

We tried this hotel for a change from where we usually stay but we wouldn't stay again.

Other than one reception desk staffer, the rest of the staff were really helpful and kind. The deluxe room bathroom had a really good shower. Breakfast was cooked well.

The rooms offered to us were small, dark, run-down and internet didn't work. When asked to change they shouted and said we had to pay extra. We settled for staying in one room together instead of the connecting rooms we had booked and they still charged us for two rooms. There are many similar hotels in Poppies I with much better rooms at a better price than LaWalon. A minor detail also was that the pool bar was never staffed. Having a pool bar was one of the reasons for booking :)

Unpleasant not worth the money found it dirty and staff really rude after finding out I was a Aussie

The bed was super comfortable, massaging pedicure at hotel excellent.

Staff where rude in hotel and restaurant, loud talking and gardening at 7am outside my room 16+ staff had to move rooms due to mouldy ceiling a single Donna on a king bed.

The staff were very friendly. The location is not bad, a 10 minute walk to the beach. The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable.

The air-conditioning in my room leaked constantly, and could be quite noisy. The wifi connection was often poor. The rooms could do with some reading lamps. The breakfast included in the price is pretty basic.

Decent and affordable stay. Option to add in additional bed and complimentary late check out. Good.

Bed is good. Blanket serve its purpose. Have a comfortable sleep on all 3 nights. So did all my travelling group members. A decent private pool for relaxing at the resort during off peak hours. Near to Kuta beach and Legian and have many private and secluded shops along the stretch near the hotel.

On our second night, it was raining. There was no shelter walkway from the lobby to our rooms and worse case, when we wanted to borrow an umbrella for us to use just to get to our rooms, the staff ask for 50k as deposit... I think for a few minutes usage of the umbrella, the hotel could be more flexible on the usage policy. The walkway surrounding the pool and leading to our rooms was completely flooded. The neighbouring hotel guests were even joking with us that its a private pool.

Breakfast is generous, unlimited coffee and tea refills.

This is a 3 Star Hotel, but having said that, it is convenient, friendly and value for money. Good aircon.

lovely bali, crazy kuta

very central place, just in the middle of the poppies 1 of the beautiful kuta. the la walon have all the things u can need. near u can find a lot more, bar, shop, restaurant, laundry, motorbike rent, surf shop ecc ecc. a lovely place to stay in kuta.
